ANTI-VIRUS software: The programs by Norton, Symantec, etc. that often come installed on your new laptop or desktop Windows PC are usually trial versions of system-slowing junk whose only purpose is to sell you updates and other products. There is one great program that I have found that takes up precious little of your computer’s resources, quietly updates itself with the most up-to-date virus information, is an industry leader, is the choice of computer users in the know, and is F R E E !!! Anti-SPYWARE: It is highly likely that your system has been infected by spyware at some point. Spyware, Adware, and Malware are all names for programs that are installed without your knowledge that do all kinds of bad things without your knowledge. Slowed down performance on your computer is the symptom that most people notice when these programs are running on their system.
